NBCC Salutes Shramjeevis, carries Nation-Building Spirit from Borders to Cities under ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign

New Delhi : NBCC (India) Limited celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great patriotic spirit at World Trade Center, New Delhi. The celebration was graced by Shri Srinivas Katikithala, IAS, Secretary, Housing & Urban Affairs, as the Chief Guest. He hoisted the National Flag in the presence of Shri K.P. Mahadevaswamy, Chairman & Managing Director, along with Functional Directors, Shri Ravi Kumar Arora, IAS, Joint Secretary (Land & Estates), MoHUA, CVO, senior officers and a large gathering of employees and Shramjeevis. A plantation drive was also carried out along with distribution of Tricolour, sweets, caps, t-shirts at the WTC, New Delhi on the occasion.
As part of the Government’s Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, NBCC also distributed over 21,500 Tricolours to employees and Shramjeevis across its project sites and offices in India and abroad including its subsidiaries i.e, HSCL, HSCC and NSL reaffirming its commitment to instilling a sense of pride and unity among its workforce.
The Chief Guest interacted and felicitated Shramjeevis at the venue, acknowledging their invaluable role in NBCC’s growth and project execution. In his address, Shri Katikithala appreciated the significant role played by NBCC in Nation-building through its landmark infrastructure, redevelopment and housing projects across the country.
Speaking on the occasion, the CMD of NBCC lauded the efforts of all employees and partners, emphasizing NBCC’s continued role in transformative infrastructure and projects in line with the vision of Viksit Bharat.
